Housing - South Africa's great challenge tackled in Limpopo

Designed as a Local Economic Development project, the Mawa Block 8 People's Housing Process in Limpopo province has delivered 115 houses in less than a year. The houses are two thirds larger than a standard RDP house and the community was fully consulted during construction. 75% of the money allocated to the project stayed in the community.
